For Australian studios

6 questions

How much does wedding photo editing cost in Australia?

A full wedding gallery is A$120 and an engagement session is A$75, flat per project in AUD.

Can you edit a bright, light and airy look?

Yes. Bright, warm galleries with highlights recovered from harsh coastal sun and skin tones that stay warm but natural.

Do you edit destination weddings in Bali?

Yes. Tropical light, mixed venues and several days of coverage, graded as one consistent set.

What time difference is there between Australia and your team?

Our team in Pakistan is three to six hours behind Australian studios, depending on the state and daylight saving. The team works around the clock, so a link you send after a shoot is picked up the same day, whatever the hour.

Can you keep up with the October to April wedding season?

Yes. Turnaround is 7 business days from footage received all season, and Rush is there for the weekends that cannot wait.

Do you charge in Australian dollars?

Yes. Every price on our Australian site is a fixed amount in AUD.

Style and quality

4 questions

Will it look like my work?

Send three edited frames and your preset. We match it before we touch a single raw.

What do you need to match my style?

Three to five finished frames you are proud of, your Lightroom preset or LUT, and a line on how the day should feel. For films, a link to one of your past edits helps more than any written brief.

Do you retouch?

Every gallery gets exposure, white balance, crop and colour on every image, plus skin clean-up on close portraits. Heavy retouching such as body reshaping or object removal across many frames is quoted separately.

Do you cull, or should I?

Either. Send the full card and we cull to the count in your package, or send your selects and we grade only those.

Sending and receiving files

4 questions

How do I send footage?

Paste a link from Dropbox, Google Drive, WeTransfer, pCloud or Box when you send the project. We never ask you to upload raws to us directly.

What do I get back?

The finished gallery or films through a download link, plus the project file, so you can make your own changes later.

Which software do you edit in?

Lightroom Classic for galleries, Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve for films. Tell us which project file you want back.

Who sees my footage?

Only the editor on your project. Never shown in our portfolio without your written permission. No credit, no mention.

Turnaround and revisions

4 questions

How fast?

Seven business days from footage received. Rush in 72 hours for +50%.

When does the clock start?

When your footage link works and the brief is complete. Weekends and public holidays in your country do not count as business days.

How do revisions work?

Open the project, choose Request a revision and write what should change. Each round goes back to the same editor. Your package lists how many rounds are included.

What if I don't like it?

Revisions are in every package, and the first project is free.

Pricing and the free trial

5 questions

What is included in the free trial?

One project per studio: any Gallery tier or the Highlight film, edited and delivered exactly like a paid project.

How do I pay?

By card, through the payment link we send once the brief is confirmed. Nothing is charged before that. Prices are in AUD and include the project file and the revisions listed.

Can I get a monthly rate?

Studios sending five or more projects a month can move to a monthly plan at 15% off. Write to hello@backstagepost.com.

Where are you based?

Our editing team is in Pakistan. We work with photographers and filmmakers in the US, the UK, Canada, Europe and Australia, in English, by email. Your files stay in your own storage; we work from your link.

Why an editing team in Pakistan?

Skilled editors, a team that works around the clock, and prices a studio can book every week. You keep the client, the name and the final say.
